Campus Tutoring

* The Academic Resource Center offers tutoring in a variety of subjects on either an appointment or drop-in basis. To make an appointment or to see a list of tutoring subjects, click the Make an Appointment button on the list to the right of the screen.

* Student Affairs offers individual tutoring in a variety of subjects. They are located in the University Center 113. Some of the classes for which they offer tutoring services include math, English, computer science, engineering, foreign languages, physics, chemistry, accounting, biological science, and other subjects as needed. Students are required to complete a Request for Tutorial Service form which can be downloaded from their site. Their telephone number is 824-6203.

* The Math Tutoring Center, located in Madison Hall 207 offers individual drop in tutoring for students in the following classes: MA107, MA110, MA113, MA115, MA120, MA171, and MA172. You may call them at 824-6470.

* The Physics Success Center is located in the Optics Building 253. They offer individual drop in tutoring for all physics classes. For more information visit their web site or call them - 824-2482.

* The UAH Writing Center provides free writing consultation to all members of the university community. In order to make an appointment, please visit their website at www.uah.edu/writing. The Writing Center is located at Morton Hall 228 and their telephone number is 824-2363. They offer three types of appointments:

- Standing weekly appointments made at the beginning of a semester
- Regular one time appointments
- Walk in appointments are sometimes available


* Engineering Student Affairs provides drop-in tutoring for a variety of classes for engineering students. Please check for course availability and tutoring hours by emailing bolesba@eng.uah.edu or calling 824-6877.

* The Chemistry Department provides tutoring for several subjects. Please contact them for a current schedule of classes and available session times. Their telephone number is 824-6153.
