Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS)

One of the goals of the ideal PASS session is to model good student behavior: this includes demonstrating effective reading, note-taking, and study skills as well as showing students what to do if they have a question or gaps in their knowledge.

Upon completion of training, PASS Leaders will know how to build relationships, plan their own sessions, organize the content of the sessions, use effective learning strategies to reinforce course material, and facilitate group interaction during sessions.

In order to be considered for the position of a PASS Leader, please make sure you have completed and returned all of the documents listed below to the ARC. Should you have any questions or need clarification on any document, please contact the ARC as soon as possible.
